Do teachers worry when students take their exams? Yes we do. We sometimes feel as though we are the ones taking the exams ourselves.
Some teachers, though, say, "I've done everything I can, and now it's all up to you." These are the words of a teacher with a clear conscience.
Do I have a clear conscience? I've done my best this year with the little I have been given. I've tried to carry out my responsibilities to my students well. I've tried to work hard and play hard. And I've tried to be a good example to my students. I've not used vulgarities besides "shitake mushroom" or "sugar"; nor insulted them. I've tried to be punctual to lessons and to put in effort. And when people fail their exams, what's more important to me is that you tried or that you improved. Of course, if failure comes from a lack of effort then it's a different story.
But I have tried my best. And I do have a clear conscience.
So why do I still worry?...
